Back in 2018 the Land Trust Alliance sent a film crew to Newtown, Connecticut to capture the amazing work of the Newton Forest Association and the volunteers bringing that work to life. As CT’s oldest land trust (and there are a lot of them), NFA and the communities they serve have seen more than their share of both good and bad times, and the lands they preserve have not only been a reminder of where they come from, but also a steadfast source of restoration.
